Jin Shin Jyutsu is an ancient Japanese healing practice that can reduce stress and anxiety, alleviate discomfort, boost the immune and circulatory systems, calm the nervous system, and enhance overall health and wellness.  A one hour session usually consists of a client lying on their back on a massage table for the entire time.  Clients are fully dressed.  The practitioner places their hands lightly on up to 26 different locations on both sides of the body to release tension and stress.  There is no massage or manipulation of muscle or tissue.

It is worth noting that Jin Shin Jyutsu is being utilized in hospitals before and after surgery to help patients heal more quickly and with less discomfort. It is also being utilized to assist cancer patients with the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation, while decreasing stress, and enhancing emotional well-being.
